User “stayout” made a very useful toy – a tester of electronic elements.
The project was being carried out on the basis of Link and **broken link removed**
Thanks to high quality elements, accurate and repeatable readings were obtained.
Construction time: 4h
Expenses: Atmega8, display, other

Everything is aptly described in the second link. One difference in construction is a 22Ω contrast resistor instead of a 1kΩ, which results from the display used.

The tester supports:
-Diodes (such as rectifying, double, LED ones)
-Transistors (such as bipolar, mosfet, jfet ones)
-TRIACs
-Thyristors
-Resistors
-Capacitors

Really, excellent tester developed by Markus Frejek.

Matches with LCR-meter based on tiny2313 must be quite well, with one display on two devices.
