Excuse me, i want to testify whether my RS-232 serial cable can send data into my PC or not. What are the methods to testify the data can be received by the PC??? Can anyone please tell me how??? Can i use power supply connect voltage to the TD pin 2 transmit the data and see???

use loop back on your cable end(connect 2 and 3 pin)
and what you send from your PC you must receive back if your cable is good
