Hi,

I am not sure how to perform the dependence of diode I-V on temperature in medici. Basically, what I would like to perform is to vary the temperature from 100k to 300k to see the effect of temperature on the I-V characteristics.

I went through the medici manual and it seems that I couldn't find a keyword where I can specify the global temperature. Does anyone have an idea how to do that?
Thanks very much in advance.

Regards,
Lu

The diode equation calculates current versus voltage. It considers the temperature although not directly, but in the parameter for thermal voltage.

See:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diode

Excerpt:

"The thermal voltage VT is approximately 25.85 mV at 300 K, a temperature close to "room temperature" commonly used in device simulation software."
