hi every one, i need a final year project.
the main subject i have studied are basic electrical engineering, basic electronics, object oriented programming(java),matlab2010,c++,digital logic design, signal and system, digital signal processing, amplifier and oscillators, data communication and computer network, electronic devices circuits, linear control system, analog communication, network analysis.
the subjects which i have to study are engineering management , microprocessor and interfacing techniques, transmission and switching system, digital communications, antenna and microwave theory, wireless and mobile communications, telecommunication system, network security, satellite communication, optical fiber communication, traffic engineering.

so plz kindly give me some ideas about project about telecommunication engineering.

Bachelors or masters / From the number of courses listed, i would think bachelors. Here's an idea --- probably an old idea.

create a system for realtime macro-management of traffic congestion & re-routing which is applicable city-wide, based on information fed to it from multiple sensors monitoring the traffic back-up at each crossing.

This would potentially use many of your studied subjects simultaneaouly, and be a boon to the metros worldwide.

Bachelors.... plz give me the new ideas... i wanna do something new for fial year... i wanna make a project which is based on networking as well as electronics.... plz kindly help me..

You can make the sensor & transmitter solar powered

You could make a wireless ethernet link, like RONJA.
By using infrared led + lenses you can achieve up to 100Mbps with 3~4km range, and using lasers you can communicate over 100Km.

Ronja is a free technology project for reliable optical data links with a current range of 1.4km and a communication speed of 10Mbps full duplex.

Ronja (Reasonable Optical Near Joint Access) is an User Controlled Technology (like Free Software) project of optical point-to-point data link. The device has 1.4km range and has stable 10Mbps full duplex data rate. Ronja is an optoelectronic device you can mount on your house and connect your PC, home or office network with other networks. Or you can use it as a general purpose wireless link for building any other networking project.

The design is released under the GNU Free Documentation License: you get all the necessary documentation and construction guides free. The material costs are very low, about 100 USD. The operation is immune to interference and quite reliable - interrupted only by dense fog. Here's the website: http://ronja.twibright.com

I also read about a research in laser data transmission and saw that they achieved 100Km data transmission with a high power laser and optics.
As an example, you can look at this Instructable, it's a simple data link with 2 lasers.
