Hi,
I have implemented Stereo audio amplifier using TDA2822M IC **broken link removed** .
I HAVE NOT USED PIN3,5,6 .Input from PC to 7th pin and other to ground, and output to speaker at pin 1 and ground.
But i am getting little noise(hiss sound) when i am giving supply(Vs=5V) to amplifier, though i am not giving any inputs.
Hiss Sound amplitude is low. I can play songs easily from PC and gets clean audio at high volumes input, but for small amplitudes signal this hiss sound creates problems.
Any suggestions ??

Ok, I will try. :)
Initially i forgot to mention that i have used Polarized Capacitor=0.47uF,in series with pin 7.

The hiss from a TDA2822M amplifier IC might be the second amplifier (that you are not using) is oscillating because it is not muted properly.
Why not use both amplifiers as a bridged amplifier that produces almost 4 times the output than a single amplifier?

A second problem that might cause hiss is because its gain is very high at 100 and cannot be reduced.

A third problem is that it is not hi-fi, instead it is simple and cheap.

Hey Audioguru,Thanks for suggestions.I already tried bridged amplifier with this IC but didn't work properly.I think your third suggestion is correct its not hi-fi
Any suggestions for some other Op-Amp which can be used instead of this ?

The TDA2822M is not an opamp, instead it is a cheap low power power amp.

A hifi amp IC provides much more power than the TDA2822M amp IC that was used for a portable old cassette tape player and uses a supply voltage much higher than your 5V. An LM3886 is a good hifi amp iC.

Thank you for all help you did.
yeah its not an Op-Amp. I wrote it by mistake.:p
I will check if LM3886M is suitable for my circuit .
