hi all

How to estimate the time required for xilinx synthesis tool to synthesis a certain file ?

what are the general guide lines to find the approximate time?

waiting for any information
 

Unfortunately, the synthesis time is not only dependent on the design size .. it also depends on the tool version, and available resource at the synthesis time ..

Even the same design can take different period of time for synthesis given the same tool and same hardware, but if other tools are sharing the same resources during simulation.
