switching power supply 15 vdc 220 vac circuit

I often repair switching PS
now,I have problem with my switching power supply
input 220Vac
output 5Vdc (4a), 24Vdc (2a)

plug in 220Vac but no Vdc output,
I check switching transistor BUV48--->die,(the oscillator output to base pin of BUV48 is ok)
now I don't have this Trans to replace in my location, so can anybody show me another one equivelent.
BUV Vce=1000Vdc
Ic = 20A
and can you show my the internet site to search electronics components

ex: I don't know the name of transistor but I know its characteristic (Vds =1000Vdc, Vgs=5v, Rdson=...)
so I only enter the value of Trans in need,the web find the name of my trans.

If it is BUV48, it is a Silicon power BJT Transistor, having Vceo=400V and Ic=15A etc there are many similar transistor as shown, now see whether available or not in ur location

I've tried your software,it's useful.
May i have a word

+In your main menu, for me, the parameter Vce is important than Vcb
+maybe, additional parameter is possible, such as, IC package (TO126,...).
when you're looking for the equivalent trans, there are a lot of Trans to choose but the size is so different so it's hard to replace.
+could you up to date your transistors and maybe, including FET.

I replace BUV48 by 2SC3997. there are pulses at base pin of transistor but no Vdc output, maybe the trans isn't working.Could anybody find out the problem?

Vce is important, actually I press PRT-SCreen command to obtain the pic of the equivalents, however the software shows all the parameters (approx) of the devices including package etc, but for that I have to scroll left to show, I only give a list with few parameters.
