after reading a topic on elektroda about GNU and the GCC compiler i thoought that it would be good if i write my code for hc11 using the C++ language
so i went to the site and downloaded the file
so i want ur opinion guys if i should spend some time on learning how to write, and compile programs for hc11(because i fould that it isnt that easy)
or should i continue on using the assembly language???
AND is there any other good compiler other than GCC??

My opinion is clear, keep on learning!
About the compilers, there are a few of the out ther, my favorite is IAR Embeded Workbench on first place. On second place comes ICC11 from Image Craft (affordable!).
thx solvarg for ur guide (can u share one of these programs ??)
do u know , or does anybody know, where can i find some free ebooks or examples on how to use the c++ language with hc11
thx in advance
Some good HC11 compilers exist in time limited or code size limited version :
ICC11 from Image Craft (downloadable 30 days limit)
Cosmic HC11 compiler (ask for a demo CD.....2ko)
IAR (ask for a demo CD.....2ko)
CodeWarrior (Metrowerks/Hiwire) (ask for demo CD)
