Dear All,

May I know the effect of input capacitance on the accuracy of a switched capacitor circuit in general (differential multiply by 2 circuit in specific).

Thanks a lot in advance!!

Best Regards,
M.

Clarify your Q more.

Does the amplifiers input capacitance have any effect on the multiply by 2 operation, will it introduce any amount of error?

Thank you,
M.

It might influence. Input capacitance of amplifier might have charge sharing with switched capacitors.

Yes, input capacitance in combination with finite amplifier gain causes a gain error. You'll find the basic equations in text books, e.g. Razavi.
