hello
can any one help me in svpwm generation for 3 phase inverter. till now i have worked on spwm by pic18f4431.

i have understand only switch pattern.
how to generate desire output frequency?
how to set modulation index?
how to set carrier frequency?

please help me
 

Hi,

If you did an internet search you found a lot of informations.
In my eyes it makes not much sense to repeat all this information here in this thread.

--> look for reliable and detailed descriptions, tutorials, documents, videos....
Most reliable are from semiconductor manufacturers and universities.
Don´t rely on brief descriptions from random hobbyists. (They may be good or may not be good)

For sure the "reliable" ones come with a lot of stuff you may never heared before... but that´s learning. Go through them and soon you will understand the details.

After that you are welcome here to ask more detailed questions.
* Give (links to) documents you refer to
* show us your sketch - even hand drawn
* show us your idea
* show us your code
* tell us what you expect and what is not like expected. (scope pictures...)

Which 8051 chip are you planning to work with? Standard 8051 has no hardware features supporting pwm generation, no good idea to use it for a pwm project.
 


Hi,

till now i have learn about switch state and angle calculation. by which we can calculate the vector timing.
The angle is rotating, rotating with time. 360° per full wave. For 50Hz this are 360° in 20ms.
So if you are able to calculate the angle (at a given time) then "this is the timing".

@klausst one more thing how many angles are necessary from 360degree. for example i just presume for 20msec for 360degree then after every 2.5msec. i have to cal. angle ?

in this website they have show the timing at different angles.

please correct me if i am wrong

i mean for every 2.5msec i have to follow 8 sectors....
yes then how many angle cal is required?
