Hi all,

I have
- 2 ICs that required +10V and -10V
- 1 ICs that required +5V and -5V

How can I power them up using one dual DC voltage supply?

Thanks!

Search existing EDABoard threads, there is lots of circuits.

Dual Voltage Regulator from Single tapped trafo.jpg

Use 7810 7910 7805 7905 voltage regulators instead 7812 7912.

What rating is you dual voltage source?

I miss out on that part, it's a variable dual dc supply used in lab.

So just to confirm, I need a 7805 and a 7905 voltage regulator for +5v and -5v respectively?
Are the 2 capacitors for each regulator a must? I know that the capacitor at the output is for stability.
