Hi all:

I want to construct a gps receiver front end using the MAX2740 chip:

...may somebody recommend me some external components needed for this? (antenna, filters, frecuency reference oscillator and so)

Thanks in advance. Best Regards

Hi,
I am using the MAX2740 for the GPS receiver design.

You can use a 25dB MACOM antenna if you are using a cable length of less than 10m.

Filters: This depends on the application you are planning for. Provide more details. Filter components can be ordered from murata and coil craft.

20MHz : use a low phase noise oscilator from RAKON or any standard vendor.

You get differential ADCs from MAXIM and ADI.
