I would personally recommend these books:

Delta-Sigma Data Converters.
Theory, design and Simulation
By S.R. Norsworthy, R. Schreier and G.C. Themes.

Or:

Understanding Delta-Sigma Data Converters
By R. Schreier and G.C Themes


I learned a lot from these and would bescribe the last one as a must if you are new at designing DS modulators.

As I think, u have to first simulate ur design with the help of Matlab.
and a lot of informations are available on net regarding sigma-delta simulation and working principle.
all the best.
