Hello,

I am trying to implement a subthreshold level shifter, going from 0.3V to 1.2. Most of the designs that I have found online do not function in the subthreshold region.

One of the functional level shifters that I found that DID work as desired is pictured below:

However, when the level shifter has an input '1' signal, there is a direct path from VDD to GND, which is not good from a power consumption perpsective.

Is there a way to eliminate this path and still have the level shifter function? Or are there alternative subthreshold level shifter designs?

Thanks.
