It's a full project of column speakers. I wanted to test diffrent methodes of board connections, milling, veneer etc.... case should be nice looking, speakers in good price, with nice stands.

I used quite good speakers by STX : GDWK 10/200.8 pj and GDN 17/140/8 scx

Casing:
Columns are made up with particle board 18mm thin and some MDF 22 thin, NA front and 12mm bezels. Boards connect by screw and glue by wikol. Capacity of each column is about 17 liters. Inside there is stiffen bar. Front of plate mdf have been glued at the end. Bass reflex hole is at back with 50mm diameter and 110mm lenght.
Bottom board of stands is made with two mdf plates 22mm. Top plate is just one board. Rest is particle board 18mm.
Finishing
To finish columns and stands I used burr pine glued by wikol. Next it is stained by nut color ( two layers). At the end painted by dulux semi - mat ( 3 layers) bottom and top stands board after had milled were paint black ( two layers) and then car lacquer. Soundproof is 20mm thin sponge at bottom, rear and walls.
Sound quality is good. Especially GDN 17/140/8 scx made nice surprise because of it's great bass. Also GDWK 10/200/8 pj play well but we know that. Of course you can complain about diameter that is out too much.
