Hi,

I want to store audio(mono) on a sd card. I am not sure how to store it in WAV format. For now i can store on SDcard the output i get from MSP430.

Any suggestions are welcome.

Hi, you should encode audio in wav format, then save the file to sd card.
Usually you should use an encode chip to do this.

Will check that , Is it possible to do it by means of software , like any API is already avaiable ?

Check for any library that stores in wav format. wav can store raw audio data. You just need the container of the wav file.

I have read the wav file from a SD card. I use the opensource fat library, fatfs. To read the wav file, I use this page to understand the format. . I extract the data based on the wav file header.
