Please let me know that how step-up chopper work,i want to make DC to AC inverter.
Can anyone interested to tell me about it?

A solution for voltage level conversion usually uses a transformer. However, transformers only work for varying voltages - like an AC sine wave, they don't work for DC.

So one method is to 'slice' your input DC voltage so that it looks like its varying - and feed that to a transformer - which then converts it depending on turns ratio.

For the chopping/ slicing you typically use a BJT, or MOSFET, or IGBT.

The chopper part involves turning a DC supply on and off repeatedly (although a particular waveform may have been meant when the word was coined).

Of course the chopper circuit is only one of many pieces that make up a DC-to-AC inverter.
