Here’s project of starting gate, that was used at robots championship T-BOT2010, in LF category. Electronics is based on popular processor – ATMega16. Firstly I wanted to put ATMega8 but there were some problems with paths. Sensor is based on light-sensitive- resistor, that comes from solar lamp, transmitter is from Chinese laser. .this transmitter is the weakest element of system, couse I don’t trust him. Lap time is displayed to the nearest hundreadth of a second and after reached 99,99 range turns to tenth of seconds. all code I wrote in C language. There is one bug, that nowone found at the competition. The problem is with brightness of one of the numbers ( don’t know why couse each nmber is displayed by the same function).
