Do you know what standard thickness for aluminium MCPCB is?

We are doing a board for 42 2W LEDs. (110mm by 46mm)

Also, do you know what the standard thickness for the copper tracking on such boards is?

And are there different levels of isolation between the copper tracking and the aluminim.....ie different dielectric thickness's and types?

The standard thickness of the aluminium LED pcb we use is 1.6mm. I have seen copper thickness of both 1oz and 2oz in designs.

I have attached the datasheet of different substrates we've used. Note of the thermal conductivity differences in the materials. You'll also find in the datasheet the available thicknesses for the substrate.

However, like most designs, it's always best to talk to your supplier which material they can source the quickest.

Good luck.
