i want to convert any square wave to its DC avg value(Level) , and i want that converion to be very fast as i can , and i want to know how many cycles of the square wave i need for such conversion ( i want the Minimum no. of cycles required) .

I want anyone to tell me how to do that , and suggest me a circuit or Schematic or any useful resource

Thanks

If you could supply more details of what you want to do, we can help better.
When the signal is 'high' or 'low' is the amplitude constant or do you need to average it also?
What is the frequency range?
What is the voltage range?
What accuracy do you need?
How fast do you need to determine the average?
Depending on your answers, the best solution could be either analog or digital.
