Square wave "retifier"

Hello all

I have got an input signal as square wave (+5 / -5).
How can I obtain a constant output +5 from that square input signal?

I need something like "square wave retifier".

Does anyone know some IC to reproduce that?
Or can somene give some tips?

Why not just rectify, filter and regulate it like you would if it were a sine-wave?
 

Because I receive a square wave in my circuit.
Actually I am receiving a RS-422 level, so I need to make it high to make my switch work.
 

You can still use a diode and capacitor to generate a DC voltage from any AC signal - doesn't matter what the waveshape is!
