is it posible to do a square-to-sine wave conversion using mere resistor-capacitor networks. plis some one forward me a circuit diagram.

Yes you can do that by using filter.

square wave is sum of fundamental component plus other odd harmonics.

If you pass through low pass filter with cut off frequency more than fundamental and less than 3rd harmonic , then you can eliminate all the harmonics.

You are left with only fundamental component which is sine wave of fundamental frequency.

This low pass filter from RC network. Details are available in any standard text book.
