hi
is there a jtag software, which can program the spi flash memories? (M25P64)

the universalscan supports, but not free.

what about the jtagtools? does it support the spi?

and the xilinx xspi? does it support other chips, than xilinx (i mean not in the memory side, but the other)? probably it supports xilinx cables, and I have a P4 cable.

I am looking for a solution, where all the parts below ar compatible with each other:

[jtag_software]----[jtag_cable]----[processor/fpga]----[SPI_mem]

in my project, there is an ADSP-BF532, connected to a M25P64

I am using jtag. It supports SPI. You have to write the SPI driver for your application. Then you can write it in the SPI flash memory through jtag.

what does it mean? "I am using jtag. It supports SPI."

which software do you use?
jtagtools? or other?

my app is an uboot (what i want to burn into the flash), which has an spi driver.
