How many times i need to unsubscibe from your (...) spam list to stop receiving spam from edaboard.com? How many times i need to open this (...) link or what to do to stop it?

Ditto - despite unsubscribing 'single' mails and 'all subsription preferences' many times they still keep coming though.

Any way to stop them.....?

More spam!

An email entitled "Overcoming software development challenges by using an integrated software framework".
Despite having unsubscribed from it twice before, yet its still coming.

This time - it's being spam dumped, so ALL emails from the forum go to spam.!

I also received the same email. It was a notice of an upcoming 'webinar' which took place May 13.

It says further installments will be held May 20 and 27.

I didn't see the word 'free', so I don't know whether it costs money to register.

EE World is the name at the top. I suppose they send this email to Edaboard members, realizing there will be some who call this spam, but others will be interested.

spam list to stop receiving spam from edaboard.com?

Regardless of whether the member might be interested or not in the advertising subject, once subscribing to Edaboard, all members agree to the forum rule terms, also stated on Forum Rules page, so that 'spam' is not the most appropriated description. This is not exclusive to this forum, but a common practice adopted by many others.

What we do with the information we gather
We use personal information to process your requests or transactions, provide you with products and services, and inform you about other products or services we think will be of interest.

Yet despite unsubscribing from it - we still keep getting those emails.

So yes - it is correct to call it SPAM.
And those rules have obviously changed since this forum was joined.

Clearly it is UCE, and UCE is spam - particularly if it cannot be stopped. (UCE = unsolicited commercial email). Fortunately the bayesian filters in email clients are extremely good at removing whatever I define to be spam. Alternatively, if enough people "tell" googlemail etc that it is spam then either googlemail will bin it or edaboard will have to pay googlemail etc to pass it.

Of course, since we aren't paying for the service, clearly we are the product being sold to spadvertisers. Fortunately adblock works well.
