South bridge for Power PC MPC8641D

hi all,
I m planning for board design using Freescales MPC8641D power processor.
the south bridge given in some document for this processor is ULi M 1575.
But now production of this chip (ULi M1575) is stopped.
I need to know, if any other south bridge equvilent to ULi M1575 is there?
and also "whether south brudges are processor dependent"..... Why because,
This M1575 south bridge is connected to processor through PCI Express....so if we have any other south bridge having PCI Express.. then it will work or not...

pls, Help me out of this ..
