Someone has a source for complementary JFET transistors?

Saw once a STAX high-end preamplifier using those but can´t remember the manufacturer/type anymore...at least something not available from known companies...

Re: Complementary JFET??

Are you sure you don't mean a matched pair? Preamps often use matched pairs in the input gain stage so that the response is as symmetrical as possible when using a differential pair in the front end. A complimentary pair would be used in an class b output stage and a preamp generally has an emitter-follower (or source follower) type class a output stage. Sorry if I'm off track here.

No...not those 2-JFETs in one package types (o;

As I said..saw it in a high-end audio preamplifier...where they used N-JFET and P-JFET as you would use normal NPN/PNP bipolar transistors.

The preamplifier has also a total different voltage regulator than others...parallel shunt instead of series regulator (o;

Have to grab the schematics out and post a picture here...
