Sony GDM 2038 Computer Monitor - Manual request

Hi all,
I have a problem with my monitor...I was using it a week ago....Switched it off to go home...and next morning when i turn on the monitor i am hearing a squarel noise on the G Board...
Wondering if anyone can help me get a manual for the above would be appericated
Can anyone help me out here..Thanx

Hi,
I hope you have some service skills and you know precautions you should apply in this case. Check the main switching transistor (depending on model, can be bipolar or mosfet) in the horizontal. I am not sure about this model, but large screen monitors usually have two switching transistors in the horizontal circuit, one for deflection and one for high voltage transformer. Check them both, one of them may be a 3 end wire.

Also, use one message for one problem, in the correct forum. Read rules of Elektroda. Next time you'll get a warning for this.
