i want to know all about interfaces available in the market

1. TCP/IP
2. MODBUS

what is the highest data transfer rate i get from each of this

can anybody explain the advantage/ disadvantage of all in industry
 

Max data transfer rate for RS232 in communication with PC is 115200 bits per second.
