Quite a while ago, one of the technical drawing teachers of my school were throwing out tons of old computers (486) and other expansion cards (IDE interfaces etc) which I couldn't resist taking (much to my mothers dismay) and I happened to come across this wierd card. Any idea what it is and what it is used for?

I believe it is a Microsoft bus mouse adapter card for ISA bus.

This board is used to connect old Microsoft mouse. It uses its own protocol, so it is not PS/2 or RS232. I had one of these old devices. The mouse was very good - very precise and nice fit in hand, but now this is just a history.

Ace-X.

P.S. It is not necessary to add so many pictures - do not forget about traffic! Many our collegues use dial-up.
