Within and around the field of hardware development for pca/pcb's, are there any interesting/new/upcoming technologies I should be studying to keep myself competitive? I am a recent college graduate, and I feel very confident when it comes to the different type of circuit topologies for digital/analog. But I don't have the experience to know what I should be looking at beyond.

Any help much appreciated!
