Hi everyone

I'm new to these forums and pretty inexperienced with regards to electronics, but am very interested in using an audio visual display as part of an art project for university.

I'm looking at setting up a system inside a small space. It will involve co-ordination of lights and sound over a period of about 1 minute.

The sound will play for 45 seconds with a blue LED, then 15 seconds with a strobed UV light, the change sychronised with a change in the music, then once the minute is up the cycle needs to be reset to be started with the press of a switch. I am hopelessly clueless as to how to go about this, so literally any help at all would be appreciated, books to read, company's to talk to, comprehensive solutions or recommended products, or advice in general!

Thanks in advance!
