Colleagues,

Is there a practical solid state multiplexor for a signal with levels on the order of 50 micro-V? I’ve done this in the past with reed relays, but now I need to increase the switching rate, and the relays will not be fast enough.

Try FET bus switches like 74CBT3253 or other '3253 chips.

I've seen 3253 used in a ham radio SDR receiver - placed just after the RF BPF, so it can switch microvolt signals. It has low on resistance, and for low distorsion you need to bias the signal pins to VDD/2.
