Is it possible making SKILL programs in a windows-based environment?
If so, what software will i use?

I think road_0506 think the SKILL programming language, SKILL is the language of the Cadence IC deisgn environment. (.NET, Visual Studio and other windows shits are not so good for him). Cadence IC just under linux and sun. I think this is the one way to learn it. So you need a Cadence IC environment.

Yes, Skill is for automating tools like virtuso and some tools provided by cadence. Doesn't work on windows. only linux or unix environment.

Skill is a scripting language which is used in Cadence IC design Environment.. This is mainly used to create the layouts & related stuffs( merging Layers, Deleting the unwanted Layers & etc ) automatically...
