Hi

Which software would you recommend to simulate the magnetic field of a solenoid?

Thanks,

QuickField (free student version available) has easy and intuitive operation but is limited to 2D and axisymmetric problems.

For AC electromagnetic 3D problems with µr=1, FastHenry (www.fastfieldsolvers.com) could be interesing. It lacks an editor with graphical entry.
