Software for file transferring without internet connection

I hope everybody knows about wwwfile sharepro.Is there any other software in which file transfer can be done without internet connection?

Windows OS has a built in program (hyper terminal) you can transfer files with it through your telephone line.

Start Menu\ Accessories\Communications\Hyper Terminal

but you need a Telephone line.
