I've installation troubles with the soc 3.1 tool. I've a working licence for this tool, but I get only suport from cadence for RH7. However, I installed it on SuSE 9 and the ldv and ic tool works fine.
Unfortunaley, if I try to open the pks_shell for instance, following error message occurs:

==> ERROR: An unrecoverable exception has occurred (SEGV).

I installed backwards compatible libs and I am sure that all paths and env vars are set correctly, since I installed a working cadence environment on a Solaris 8 OS, I'd like to get it working on a x86 (I've a university - license and for us a Blade is very expensive compared to x86 computers).

Thanks for your readiness for help!
