Hi All!

I am very new to image processing. I am doing an online class in FPGA open online course about self-driving cars. I facing with practice problems about lane detection using image processing, which is very stranger to me. Before I advance to the software part, I really want to solve edge detection using Sober Filter on Slopes and Diagonals.

I already understood horizontal and vertical

but for slopes and diagonals I have a difficulty on how to solve them. I searched in the internet but I'm having a hard time understanding even after reading 2 pages of article.

Can you guys please give an example or explanation, but without reading too much and end up not understanding at all.

Here are my examples that I need to solve with your help.
