I have seen that applications devoloped in VC++ using MFC are not working in other system in which MS Visual Studio is not installed. It will show that some dll is missing even if u r trying to run exe. Solution is install Visual Studio.

Otherwise devoloper can write the application using WIN 32 APIs. That will run in any system where windows is installed
