Hey guys,
I'm doing a project about SMPS, and I have to compare the different SMPS topologies and choice the one which is suitable for my project,
And I want to find materials about the max power capability so I can easily rule out those with low power capability.
So my question is this, do you guys know where I can find journals or formula about this?

My project: Wide range input voltage DC/DC converter for PV application
Input voltage: 10-50V
Output voltage: 300-400V
Rated power: 1kW
In my project I have to choose the cheapest and most efficient converter.

Thanks for your help
Gure

you go 10v to 400v, so it is high step up.....you therefore sound like need transformer smps....do you also need the isolation anyway?
Maybe for your high power you use interleaved smps's.......what is your method of cooling?.....what is your size limitation?, as convection cooling alone means big big size.
