Hi everybody,

I'm looking for a component marked BR79.

I've made a lot of research on google with the following tags :

for the package, I've tried with : TSOP6, SOT457, SM6, SMT6, Mini6, SOT23-6, SC-74, SC-59-6

and for marking : BR79, BR7, BR

I've also made the schematic, and I think this component is like a kind of transistor.

Pin 1 is connected to VCC (5V)
Pins 2 & 5 are connected to GND
Pin 3 is connected to the µc (I think is the command)
Pin 4 is also connected to the µc (maybe is a status ?)
Pin 6 is connected to a resistor.

I think when this component is driven, the resistor is put in the circuit (like the circuit is a switch).

If you have any information, I'll be very happy.

Thank you in advance,

Fabrice

Hi,

upload a photo of the PCB, where we can see all the connections.

You said you have a schematic, then upload it. Hand drawn is O.K.

Tell us what the PCB is for.

Klaus

Thank you for your answer.

The PCB is a milkmeter (from delaval).

The two components that I'm looking for are U10/U11.

Hi,

What about digital pot / EPOT / EEPOT?

Klaus

Hi,

Hi,

What about digital pot / EPOT / EEPOT?

Klaus

yes, it looks like a digital potentiometer as R56 is not populated (see second picture).
Are pin 3 & 4 of both ICs are connected to a microcontroller? They seem to be the programming lines.
What's the device name "CI_MM27"?

greets

Thanks for all your answers, I'll see about digital potentiometer.
Yes, pins 3&4 are connected the µc.
CI_MM27 is the name that I put because I didn't know these components (that why I'm looking for them). CI is for Integrated Circuit and MM27, the name of the PCB.

the pinout of MCP4023 (https://www.microchip.com/wwwproducts/en/MCP4023) can correspond to that (even if the marking is different).

Dear all,

With your help, I finally found my component, it's a MCP4013T-103E/CH.
