Hi,

I hope this is right forum for this question. However can anybody tell me that how to place SMD led's in alphanumeric display format. I am going to use Protel PCB designing software. Please guide. Its urgent.

Single line for each segment, so at the max 3-4 ed per segment so for 16 segments 16*4 = 64 led's per character.

Move 1 into position, move the 2nd and so on.

If you want to be able to repeat this then draw some figures that you can snap to and copy/paste it for the next character.

Or can you place 1 character then copy/paste it for the others?

Hi marce and maty,

I beg your pardon foe being so late in replying. However I used 16 segment alphanumeric FND directly. And designed it, though it hasn't been implemented yet. Thank you so much for your reply guys.
