Hello,

I am using a SMA Schotky diode on our PCB :-

https://www.bourns.com/pdfs/CD214-B120_B1100.pdf

(7W Buck LED Driver)

However, there is not enough room for it and I wish to use a smaller Schottky diode.

Here is the required spec for this diode

Schottky Diode
60V
0.25A (average)
Power dissipated = 0.18W
Surface Mount
Package = smaller than SMA (i.e. smaller than 5.6mm by 2.92mm)

Please, do you know what the name of the next-package-size-down-from-SMA is for a diode?
Is it SOD110?

SOD-123 is popular package for medium power diodes. There are also newer form-factors like chip-scale packages, but the supply
is limited for the higher voltage range. If I remember right, e.g. Onsemi has 70V SOD-123 devices. Why don't you simply browse the major
manufacturers selections tables?
