hi. i am working on image processing for FPGA implementation and my system uses the sliding window technique. how do i start with this? my camera is the terasic d5m. it takes a snapshot of the image. after which, it goes into my image processing modules. i have a reference image (of smaller dimensions) which i will be matching with the input image through the sliding window.

You can use some line buffers to store image rows and columns and then fetch the pixel values to the system.

i have tested my algorithm in matlab. i have started with my processes, for simulation. and then, i can just incorporate it all once i already have my sliding window. my process is that i will have a reference image, convert to hsv and match its' histogram with the input image.
