Hello, i am doing this mini solid state tesla coil :
PCB:
http://www.bis0uhr.de/index.htm?htt...te/tesla/english.html%99http://www.google.lt/
SCHEMATIC:
**broken link removed**
i think i soldered everything properly, checked like 5 times. I even resoldered the schematic on another board, but a lot of the parts were the same.
When i try to turn the tesla coil on, it shorts out ( I see sparks, fuse goes out), and the bd242c and one of the irf3205 transistors get really hot.
What could be the problem ???
Could it be the ne555 chip because i changed a lot of parts into new ones ( transistors, zener diodes), but i have not changed the ne555 chip.
I was using 12v acid lead battery.
Also, could it be something with the L1, L2 and TR1, because i am not sure i soldered them properly.
Sorry for my spelling and thank you for the answers.
