sip anaylyzer

I have selected Sip Protocol analyzer as my Fyp which will decode any incoming multimedia sip traffic in short i have to design and implement a software for that functionalities although the scope is more complex but it is a summary.
Since i am stong in C and c++ can anybody guide me how to start with coding I have read all general and important reading about sip protocol.
 

sip analyzer

Check on sourceforge.net - they have open-source project of very powerful SIP analyzer.
