Single Transistor Latch

For applications requiring high reliability, other more robust latching methods should be considered. Like tunnel diodes or standard flip-flop circuits.
 
Snapback is the bistable inversion and I expect base storage time is the key delay (much squarer than simple Cj). Latch needs only the snapback and the means to trigger or quench.
