i have simple circuit which is attached with the post

My problem is that when the switch closes .. instead of having permanent Low at output .. i just need a pulse of a very short duration (1 sec). and so i need to have some thing as a single pulse generator.

Can anyone suggest me some good solution.

thanks in advance

A 74HCT123 is exactly what you're looking for.

Or you can use a 555 timer IC.
