I want to design a Continuous time delta sigma modulator (CTDSM) in SIMULINK. For that I need to implement quantizers with different levels / bits like 1 bit (2 levels), 2 bit (4 levels), 3 bit (8 levels), 4 bit (16 levels). When I use the quantiser block, it is specifying only the quantisation interval (default value is 0.5). How can I model it based on my requirement of bits/levels. Is there any alternative of using the quantiser other than the block. Like can I model a comparator or some blocks similar to that? What about the "SIGN block" in simulink. Does it work as a 1 bit quantiser?
