Hello!!! I am new to proteus...
and it is very good software.
But one thing i am not able to do in this is....
to plot graphs..
Lets say i am doing the simple diode experiment...
and i want to plot the graph between Current through diode and applied voltage across diode...
Means Vd vs Id which is really simple in software's like OrCAD, but i am not able to do so..
Can anyone help me..
You have to use the DC sweep graph.
Insert in a schematic and double click it, the default variable is X, set the range of simulation values and open the voltage source properties, select manual edit and use X in the value property of the supply.
Add a current probe for the diode current and add it to the graph (you can use drag and drop) , then set the cursor over the graph and click space.
I am sorry.. i don't know exactly what i have to do...
I had selected the DC Sweep Graph
And find the Variable X.. but what is voltage source properties i don't know where it is available...
Pls explain me in some detail..
Double click your battery and set the voltage value to X (use the same letter as the sweep variable in the graph properties),
also double click the graph ans set the sweep values and step,
then just press space to simulate.
You can get similar curves using the transfer graph.
Add two DC sources from the generator mode icon (circle with sinusoidal in the left side icons),
connect one source to the gate and a second one to the drain
Double click the graph and set the two sweep parameters.
