I'm doing project on GTEM cell..I got error when i used fast sweep "poor conerges of seeding data" how to resolve it in my case.and also my simulation over without resuylts.1st I did simulation It produced result bu than no result at all...plz any one help me...

How can anyone help without more information? Post your project or give more details.

GTEM cell is basically use for measuring radiation. Its pyramidal structure.length is 250 cm,width and height is 100 cm.inside it there are absorbers.absorber length is λ/2.where λ is operating frequency.i have used both frequency sweep linear and log scale in discrete form.my RAM is 3 GB.and also when i tried to give excitation at connector there is error message pop up comes.I send you both images error message and structure

Do you have a vacuum/air box around the structure? looks like you have an object intersection error, as well as ports set up wrong errors.

yes i have vaccum structure around for giving boundry.I had object intersection error. But I resolved it.how to solve port set up errors.I had given excitation at end of the absorber by putting vacuum sheet.thank you for your quick replies

2D sheets can't be assigned as materials for anything but finite conductivity boundaries. If you are selecting the faces of the pyramid as a port that is what is causing the port assignment error. like the error says only faces in the same plane can be assigned as a single port. I think the outer faces should be PEC boundaries. Port should be at connector on pointy tip of the cone. you can use a non model plane or object internal to plot fields at the DUT as an option.

ok sir...I have problem that any modification I did there were no change in results regardless of any change in physical geometry or change in material why it is happen so???
